what to expect
Newborn sessions in my studio designed to be a calm, intimate, and thoughtfully curated experience. With 15 years of experience photographing newborns, I have created a relaxed and nurturing space and experience where families can feel at ease.
Most sessions last up to 2 hours and include styling assistance along with a select wardrobe collection for both mama and baby. Sessions are held in my cozy home studio on weekday mornings, with weekend availability by request. The environment is tailored for comfort, light, and minimalism—allowing your baby’s tiny, perfect details to shine through in every image.
I focus on capturing natural moments and all the little things that make your newborn unique—from fuzzy shoulders and tiny flakes on their fingers and toes to close-up macro shots and emotional connections. You can expect a mix of color, black & white, and fine art detail imagery.
I also offer a range of fine art print products, from albums to custom prints and frames, all sourced from exceptional artisans around the world. Every session includes access to an à la carte print studio through your online gallery, so you can choose from several heirloom quality pieces to preserve your photographs.
The ideal window for newborn photos is 7 to 21 days old, though I welcome babies up to 6 weeks for newborn sessions.
NEWBORN session pricing
Studio newborn Session fee - $200
All newborn sessions require a $200 session fee, due at the time of booking. This fee secures your baby's due date on the studio calendar and ensures a personalized, stress-free experience. This fee does not include digital images or prints. Image collections and packages are purchased separately after viewing your final gallery.

These packages are for those who are wanting to capture not only their new baby in the studio, but also their maternity and motherhood journey, or those very first moments when your baby has arrived when you are deep in that precious bliss at the hospital before taking your new baby home. Packages include a slight discount compared to booking these sessions separately. All session fees are built into these packages. No additional fees apply.

A simple studio maternity session - A relaxed, light-filled session to celebrate your pregnancy and the connection between you and your partner before baby arrives.
The Origin Studio Newborn Session - A timeless newborn session in the studio, focusing on all the tiny details and tender moments of your baby's first days.
12 high-resolution digital images from each session - You’ll select your favorite 12 professionally edited images from both your maternity and newborn galleries.
Sessions include mama and spouse/partner - These sessions are designed to celebrate your connection and growing family — both partners are always welcome and encouraged to participate.
Package may be split into 3 equal payments.

Your choice of a maternity or Fresh 48 session - Choose between a glowing outdoor maternity session to celebrate your pregnancy, or an intimate Fresh 48 hospital session to capture your baby’s earliest hours earthside.
The Heirloom Newborn Session - A full newborn session in the studio, complete with all the gentle details, sleepy stretches, and family connection — this session includes all images from your gallery (typically 40+), a 5x7 matted fine art print, and a future milestone session of your choice.
Two full galleries of professionally edited images - Receive all the best moments from each session — on average, 40+ high-resolution digital images per session — so you can relive every detail without having to choose just a few.
Package may be split into 4 equal payments.
