I see a lot of first time parents in my Columbus Georgia newborn photography studio and these are some of the sweetest sessions!

I have a really great session option for first time parents which is the Newborn Short Story session. Designed to be short and sweet. These images are from a recent Short Story session with a brand new family.

First we start out with everyone snuggled up together. From this pose I can get images of everyone together, as well as some great detail shots as your baby sleeps soundly in your arms.

Once we have gotten some family shots together, I like to move on to some images of baby on their own. If baby will tolerate being put down that is! A lot of baby's prefer the comfort of your arms which is why my photography style has developed into what it is today. All sessions are designed with your baby at the center, but surrounded by your love and comfort the whole time.

I like to finish my newborn sessions with taking turns with each parent holding baby on their own. I have several tried and true poses for both parents that add variety and extra details to your finished galleries. These are some of the best poses to get a lot of the unclose and tiny details of your tiny baby.
